HOW TO PURCHASE FIREARMS

To Purchase Firearms Online:

FEDERAL FIREARMS LAWS prevent Beltway Gun & Pawn from shipping
firearms directly to individuals without a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL).
Normally, we ship them to your local gun dealer (FFL holder).
FEDERAL LAW also requires that you must be 18 or older to purchase long guns
and 21 or older to purchase hand guns. Please check your local & state laws.

In order to purchase your firearm and have us ship it, you must complete the following steps below before we can process your order and ensure a trouble free transaction.

  1. Verify that the firearm you wish to purchase from Beltway Gun & Pawn meets the laws of YOUR State, County, or City.

  2. Complete your firearm purchase online. You will receive an order confirmation e-mail with your order number.
    • If you do not receive an email order status update within two business days after placing your order, please give us a call at 704-847-4181. Sometimes our emails are blocked by spam filters.

  3. Find an FFL holder or dealer near you that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. This can be your local Gun Shop, Pawn Shop, Gun Range or any other location that holds a current FFL and will help you with your transaction.
    • To find an FFL gun dealer in your area, CLICK HERE and click on your state.

  4. Contact your FFL dealer and tell them you would like to transfer a firearm from Beltway Gun & Pawn. This transaction is soley between you and the FFL holder.
    • You must confirm the transfer with your local FFL dealer.

  5. Have your FFL dealer send us a copy of their license. Signed, current-dated copies can be faxed to 704-847-0131, or emailed to [email protected]. It can also be included with your payment, if sending by mail.
    • For faxed or emailed copies, make sure your information and the gun information is written on it or included with it, so we know who the FFL is for.

  6. Firearms will ALWAYS be shipped to the FFL dealer's address on their license.

  7. Once your FFL dealer receives your firearm, you will need to inspect your firearm to make certain that everything is acceptable before filling out the necessary paperwork.

**Failure to read and complete all the neccessary steps above could result in the delay of receiving your firearm(s).**
